Worlds
This is just a brief observation....

What world are you living in?

I know people who live in worlds of business suits, meetings, corporate airplanes, and anything their money can buy.

I know people that live at the bottom of the poverty line -- social security disability is what they live on.

I know people that live in worlds so far removed from my own that even when I visited, I had difficulty relating to those worlds.

I know people in other countries. Those are worlds foreign to most of us. But those are not really the "other" worlds.

The differences between worlds is in the imagination. Somewhere where we think, where we believe, and where we dream. The distinction between worlds rests there.

What world do you live in?

I live in the World of In-Between.
the world where I'm almost there but not quite.
the world where I can think about doing what I want but have a long way to go before I can.
the world where there is always something behind me and always more up ahead.

The idea of different worlds

is kinda like the concept of uniforms - just another way of seeing separateness and labeling differences, rather than allowing ourselves to see/experience the unity beyond surface perceptions.

Wow - say that fast three times and you won't be in Kansas anymore.

I have lived in and through quite a few of the worlds you describe and I have been the object of the: this is other.
You know, the stares from people that had trouble believeing that Who and What I was existed. If you are different enough some just refuse to acknowledge your presence. Sometimes I was so lonely it hurt - oddly enough mostly when I was in a crowd.
And yet... here I am.

When I am centered there is no quote other (worlds) unquote. Just here. Just now. It is a place where I and we are spelt the same.

And when I am not centered... well, there you go - I am not centered.

People will always have trouble believing Who and What I am. Sometimes I even have problems with it myself. I have not been lonely in a long time.... that is a side effect of being Oneness.

Sometimes, I do wish my life did not revolve around "tests" and "trials" -- but those are what I live for. That... sometimes... moment of wanting to be normal... I tend to get over it.

For me, that is where the real loneliness lies. In those moments when I am forced to realize how unique I am... rather than be allowed to be Oneness.

Being part of the unity, the Oneness, is even a "world" in which we live. By being a full part of Oneness, we separate ourselves by unseparating ourselves. I sometimes think the best we can hope for is to become One with the illusion of who we are -- after all, we (Oneness and ourselves) create those illusions for ourself.

Anyway...
This is mainly to say, "Thanks for the response!"

And then there are times... when I don't feel so alone - like when I read posts like this.

You're welcome... and thank you.
